Passionate supporters of the pop star are demanding that a individual who leaped a barrier and grabbed the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating clip reveals the Australian man bypassing media personnel and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a yellow carpet accompanied by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being led away of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "released after being taken in", though court documents showed that he was scheduled to be present on the following morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed contains recordings of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the city last winter.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," stated an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Fans Voice Worry Over Ariana's Safety

Several supporters blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said one more message on Instagram.

Some fans also faulted guards at the gathering for not being vigilant enough; while some called for digital services to block Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Event Details

In clips circulating online, Grande appeared surprised when she was approached by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

Many of Singapore supporters had lined up to greet the actors of Wicked

Many of supporters had gathered in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore mall, including a number who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be launched on November 21, is the second of a dual version of the well-known Broadway and West End show Wicked, which focuses on the surprising relationship between two very different characters.

The production itself is a spin-off of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a light pink glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the top-earning film of the previous year in the UK, and earned a dozen Academy Award nods, winning a pair for best costume and production design.
