Mohamed Salah Issues Statement to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Salah apologised to the group of players in the wake of the controversy from his public comments.

He was omitted from a key Champions League match following voicing frustrations and suggesting his connection to the head coach had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
The manager has previously declined to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.
Moving Forward
Jones insisted that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
The midfielder also suggested that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “I understand there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
Positive Results
Their results have stayed unbeaten in the games following the initial controversy. The player is convinced the outburst were not intended to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a desire to win,” he finished. “That chapter is closed and we’re uniting strongly, playing well and securing victories.”
